The objective of the Travel & Partnership Advisor role is to efficiently handle both International Duty Travel Requests and complex Domestic Travel Requests, providing adept support to the offshore team’s inquiries. Support interlines duty travel requests, ensuring the timely processing of is in alignment with established SLAs.

Conduct thorough investigations into potential misuse, encompassing Duty and Leisure travel, and to reinforce compliance by performing meticulous audit checks on bookings and airports. You will Identify learning needs, craft comprehensive training materials, and share them via workplace platforms and the iFly Document Library, empowering Virgin Australia employees with the necessary knowledge and resources for effective travel management and fostering a culture of excellence.

As a Travel & Partnership advisor you will:

  • Requests and complex Domestic Travel Requests
  • Provide support and guidance to the offshore team, addressing any queries that fall within your expertise
  • Perform monthly credit card reconciliation and generate associated reports
  • Ensure timely processing of interline IATA788 requests in line with established SLAs.
  • Conduct thorough reviews to investigate any potential misuse of Team Travel, encompassing both Duty and Leisure travel.
  • Perform audit checks on airports and bookings to verify adherence to policy and regulatory standards.

  • Identify learning needs for Virgin Australia employees regarding Team Travel processes.
  • Develop and release comprehensive training material via work platforms and the IFLY document library

What you need to be successful:

  • Diploma of Management
  • Experience working in Corporate travel or the airline sector and a sound knowledge in industry trends and booking processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous accuracy
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Solid time management and prioritization skills
  • Understanding of ifly and staff travel will be beneficial
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office
