Payroll Officer

Full/Part Full Time

The opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Officer to join Bupa Dental on a 6-month fixed term contract. In this role, you will manage the timely and efficient payroll process and provide exceptional customer service to our leaders and employees.

Bringing your previous Payroll and Chris21 experience, you will have a proactive approach with an ability to focus on results and outcomes.

This is a remote role (based anywhere in Australia).

How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

  • Processing payroll for Bupa Dental
  • Updating new employee details in Chris21
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative requirements
  • Maintaining data integrity of the database at all times
  • Assisting with month end and year end processing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all our leaders and employees and resolve all queries in a timely manner
  • Be the first point of contact for all payroll related queries
  • Ensure all queries or issues are logged, actioned promptly and appropriately resolved
  • Provide guidance and assistance to employees with regards to timesheets and Workday

What do I need?

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar Payroll Officer role
  • Previous experience using Chris21
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Strong customer service focus
  • A proactive approach with an ability to focus on results and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adhere to guidelines
