We are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist to join our Client Care Team.

You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new software applications quickly. You have a solid command of the English language and excellent communication skills. Your work experience demonstrates success in providing customer service and strong administrative support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering telephone calls, greeting clients and visitors upon arrival, and providing excellent customer service for all questions or concerns
  • Coordinating a detailed and accurate intake of information prior to a client’s first visit to the clinic and throughout their treatment plan
  • Assisting clients with completing paperwork at the clinic to ensure success with third party billing
  • Coordinating scheduling of client appointments and maintaining client medical records
  • Completing client billing, billing to extended benefits organizations, and receiving client payments
  • Managing inventory and ordering medical and office supplies
  • Assisting and moving of clients from reception to therapist treatment rooms in a timely fashion and with the goal of helping therapists stay on time
  • Cleaning of beds and therapeutic equipment, and managing linen supply for therapists as needed
  • Providing administrative support to the Office Manager and Clinic Director

Qualifications:

  • Experience with in-person and telephone customer service experience, ideally from a medical clinic setting
  • Experience with extended healthcare or MVA billing an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
