Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our healthcare team. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing medication counseling to patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Your expertise in pharmaceuticals and your dedication to patient care will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispensing Medications: Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.

Medication Counseling: Provide patients with detailed information about their medications, including proper usage, potential side effects, and any drug interactions. Address patient questions and concerns regarding medications.

Drug Utilization Review: Conduct thorough reviews of patient profiles to identify potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications. Collaborate with healthcare providers to adjust treatment plans as needed.

Inventory Management: Monitor medication inventory levels, order and receive pharmaceutical supplies, and maintain proper storage conditions. Ensure the availability of essential medications and supplies.

Patient Education: Offer advice on over-the-counter medications, supplements, and lifestyle modifications to improve patient health. Promote medication adherence and compliance.

Compounding: Prepare specialized medications, such as compounded prescriptions, in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.

Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control checks on medications and maintain accurate records of dispensing and patient counseling.

Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.

Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patient confidentiality standards.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. Ensure pharmacy compliance with all relevant legal requirements.


  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Current and valid state pharmacist license.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and software.
  • Commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a pharmacist in a retail, hospital, or clinical setting.
  • Certification in specialized areas, such as immunization administration or medication therapy management.

Working Conditions:

  • Pharmacist positions may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • May involve standing for extended periods and lifting heavy boxes of medications.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹5,086.00 – ₹21,897.58 per month
