What the role is all about

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be a key member of the UniLodge and Essence Marketing team. Reporting to the General Manager – Marketing, your role will support the marketing function and assist to build occupancy through the execution of multi-channel marketing strategies. Some of your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Undertaking daily marketing administration tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
  • Assisting in the delivery of the tactical marketing campaigns to assist properties to raise occupancy through both new and existing residents/guests.
  • Assisting in the creation, development and maintenance of engaging marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates, EDM’s, website copy, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Property Manager’s and Customer Service Manager’s, to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the organising of promotional events, open days/market days and attend them to facilitate their success.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in UniLodge Australia’s marketing strategies.
  • Create content for various social media sites utilizing Meta (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and participate in social media conversations.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles and tools
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to handle competing demands
