Logistics Coordinator

Job Description 

Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials within a company’s supply chain. They are responsible for coordinating and optimizing various aspects of logistics operations to meet customer demands while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities:

Order Processing: Receive and process incoming customer orders and requests.
Verify order accuracy, pricing, and availability of products.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
Monitor stock levels and reorder products as needed.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.

Shipment Coordination: Plan and schedule shipments to meet customer delivery requirements.
Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange transportation.
Ensure proper documentation for shipments, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.

Warehouse Management: Oversee the organization and layout of the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.
Supervise warehouse staff and ensure proper handling of goods.
Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Communication: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, procurement, and production, to coordinate logistics activities.
Communicate with customers to provide shipment status updates and address inquiries or issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₹16,000.00 – ₹26,000.00 per month
