Marketing Coordinator

Job Description 

The incumbent will be required to assist with organizational and management tasks that support the efforts of a variety of projects, campaigns or events. Communicating with clients or employers about project, event or campaign expectations and goals.

Interpersonal and team relationships

Build, support and maintain interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.

Personal development

Complete Individual Development Plan. Attend learning and development courses. Participate in peer and team learning initiatives.

Budget Compliance

Comply with work rules, standards and methods. Take care to minimise waste.

Marketing Coordination

Compile marketing plans and develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities.

Implement and oversee marketing plans for both ABL and ATL campaigns.

Generate branded advertising campaigns, and support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content.

Setup effective tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online (Web and SoMe) activities.

Writing and delivering content and social social media plans

Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.

Research and analyze market trends and competitors.

Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data as well as campaign performance.

  • Traffic all marketing efforts/content to appropriate channels.
  • Assist Managers and team with Adhoc duties as and when required

Digital & Social Media Support

Compiling social media plans and campaign

Research and monitor campaign trends

Content creation for social media platforms and websites

Compiling, consolidating, formatting and summarizing information, presentations and distributing reports or information.

Qualifications

National Senior Certificate – Essential

3 Year National Diploma in Marketing / Business Management / Media Studies – Essential

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business Management / Media Studies – Recommended

Experience

1 year experience as a Marketing Coordinator – Essential

Computer Literacy

MS Office Suite – Basic
