They install, maintain, and repair equipment, including high-voltage machinery and complex wiring. These experts read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and handle Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to automate processes. Adecco is thrilled to work with a National client who are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Electrician to join the team . Provide technical advice, designing, programming, installing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical installation and equipment.

  • Installing, Commissioning, maintaining and fault-finding electrical installation and equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and systems.
  • Attend to faults in electrical installations and equipment and control equipment by troubleshooting, diagnosing and rectifying faults.
  • Update and instruct operations staff on the operation of electrical & control systems occasionally.
  • Analyse, report and provide recommendations on the performance of electrical and control systems to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure safety in the workplace by undertaking and reviewing risk assessments.
  • Attend planned and unplanned shutdowns as required.
  • Basic troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns, fault reporting and requesting.
  • Conduct inspections, investigations and tests as required.
  • Identify problems, seek and recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions.
  • Undertake modifications and design initiatives.


  • Electrical Mechanic License
  • Basic PLC knowledge
  • Experience with Variable speed drives, servo motors and drives.
  • Knowledge about industrial networks.
  • Previous experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Current Drives license.
