Viu, is a leading entertainment streaming service provider in 23 markets across Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa. With 59 million monthly active users (MAU), the subscription service provides diverse lifestyle and entertainment content, as well as documentaries, series, and more than 280 Viu Originals in multiple languages from today’s most popular content providers.

Viu is available at viu.com and via app (available for free on App Store and Google Play) for iOS devices to consumers through a dual model with an ad-supported free tier and a premium subscription tier (consisting of different subscription options). KEY RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY

The Director of Marketing is expected to develop, implement, and execute a strategic marketing plan for the organization. In line with business and brand.

Key Accountabilities

• Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights

• Shape and communicate our vision and mission

• Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies

• Manage media buying and PR agencies

• Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications, and sales estimates

• Measure and report the performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs

• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities

• Oversee new and ongoing marketing, advertising, and PR activities

• Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions

• Devise innovative growth strategies

• Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics

• Ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• 10-15 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a digital 1st company and/or media organization

• Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns

• Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix and different PR activities

• Fluency in English is required.

• Stakeholder management and ability to influence decision-making at different levels

• Project management and ability to breakdown projects into elements, assign them, track them, and ensure completion

• Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind

• Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
