Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity for an experienced casual Chef has become available with one of our high profile corporate accounts in the Melbourne CBD

With a fine dining background, you will be responsible for preparing sandwiches for seminars, morning and afternoon teas, and beautiful cuisine for functions, banquets, and cocktail events. Working alongside an experienced Head Chef, this Monday to Friday role is a great work environment where you will get to hone your skills within a small and prestigious environment.

About You:

  • You are a true foodie who delights in being on the cutting edge of culinary trends and cooking techniques
  • You will be a qualified Chef with Cert III in Commercial Cookery or above
  • You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Be a team player, but also be able to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail and great time management is a must
  • You have a passion for ethically and sustainably sourced local ingredients
  • Previous experience in a high-end environment – function / a la carte / boardroom setting (mandatory!)
  • Allergen and dietary focused
  • able to provide or obtain a current police check
