Job Description 

An Accountant plays a crucial role in financial management and reporting for an organization. They are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards. This role involves analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including transactions, ledgers, and journals.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor financial performance against these plans.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, and prepare and submit tax returns and related documents.

Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate financial data and supporting documentation.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payments.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations to management based on analysis findings.

Reconciliation: Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses to ensure they are within budget and in line with the organization’s financial goals.

Financial Software: Utilize accounting software and financial management tools to streamline processes and maintain accuracy.

Financial Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation, including contracts, receipts, and invoices.

Compliance: Stay current with accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations to ensure compliance.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) may be preferred or required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and present financial information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ethical and trustworthy behavior when handling sensitive financial information.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
