Job Description 

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and provide financial guidance to our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and providing advice on financial matters. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and payable.
  • Prepare and review budgets.
  • Analyze financial trends and develop strategies to improve profitability.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems.
  • Assist with audits, tax returns, and other accounting projects.
  • Maintain general ledger and perform daily accounts reconciliation duties
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform month-end tasks, create journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, including reconciling subledgers/sub-systems to the general ledger
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
  • Review and analyze Balance Sheet and P&L account variances/movements, and assess a variety of financial data
  • Support the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements that accurately reflect the financial performance of the company
  • Support the interim/year-end audit processes
  • Prepare year-end financial statements for various local legal entities
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Manage/coach junior accountants
  • Participate in business development initiatives and provide business decision support

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
